TRAVEL NIGHT This years Primitive Surf Travel Night is next Wednesday Nov 11th, scheduled for a 6:00pm kick off! World Surfaris owner Shaun Levings and myself will be hosting the night that is dedicated totally to Surf Travel. Info for everyone from seasoned travellers to someone planning on doing their 1st trip, don’t miss out on the latest from the front line of the Surf Travel Industry. Aussie surf travel guru Scardy is going to make an appearance and share some stories and expertise. Could be a few more big names floating around but you will have to come down to find out who. World Surfaris are giving away a FREE WEEK IN G-LAND on the night, all you have to do is be here to win! Also dig out your best Surf Travel photo to be in the running for a Dakine Coffin Travel Cover. Going to be a great evening so don’t miss it! |

SHAPERS NIGHT This is possibly the biggest event we have ever hosted here in the store and a once in a lifetime opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the greatest shapers, surfers and designers from the industry. Bob Mctavish will be here releasing his new book ‘Stoked’ and will be personally autographing copies. Also on hand will be shaper to the stars Greg Webber. The man behind the most interesting surfboard made, Thomas Meyerhoffer. The man known as the Mctavish of the USA, Steve Walden. And former top 45 professional surfer come designer for Aloha Surfboards, Richie Lovett. Star studded line up on what is sure to be an unreal night. Take out your highlighters and put a circle around Wednesday night the 18th of November from 5:30pm because that is when it is all going down. Beers and heaps of fun guaranteed. |

MICK VS PARKO Mick has put it to Parko in Portugal so now it looks like the title will be decided at Pipe! Everyone has been throwing stats around but I think the rough idea is that Parko has to finish two places ahead of Mick to clench the title and Durbo and De Souza are outside chances if the two Cooly Kids have a shocker. Exciting stuff! On that note how good was watching the Peniche comp live on Fuel TV. Surfing is making a move to prime time TV and it’s about time. |
